How To Remove Dust? Air Purifier To The Rescue
What happens when you're sitting in your living room, the sunlight streaming through the windows, and someone hits the couch with their hand? Suddenly the clean (looking) air is full of specks of dust. If you don't think about it, you sometimes don't even notice it, but if you do, it can be a little disturbing to see so much dust floating in the air, and knowing that you are breathing it in.
Of course we don't all go around hitting our upholstered furniture, but every time you sit down or even move through your home you are stirring up dust that has been resting. This means you are breathing in dust all day long! That's a lot of pollution for your lungs to deal with.
Asthma and allergy sufferers definitely get the short end of the stick when it comes to reaction to dust. And keep in mind, dust is really the least of our problems in terms of air pollutants in the home! Pollen, mold spores and pet dander are some of the other particles floating around the air, not to mention bacteria and viruses. This is truly an army of invaders, waiting for you to breathe them in so they can attack.
There are some things you can do to improve the air quality in your home. Airing out your rooms once or twice a day lets the build-up of pollutants out and fresher air in. Also, keeping your home well vacuumed and dusted make it less hazardous to move about your house, as there is not as much dust to stir up.
But how can you get rid of this dust? Air purifier is the perfect solution. These machines filter the air, clearing it of particles floating around. Different machines have different types of cleaning systems and remove particles of different sizes, but all of them are effective to some degree.
If you want to remove dust air purifiers of every type will do the trick. Much of the dust is large enough for us to see it, so it's certainly large enough to stick in the filter or be attracted to the ion charged plate. When you get to the smaller particles, this is where air purifiers may differ.
Some air purifiers are great at removing pollen and mold spores, but won't filter out viruses. Still other types of purifiers can remove odors and gases, but aren't so great at other types of pollutants. Before you buy, take into consideration what exactly it is you want to clean out of the air.
Some top of the line air purifiers use a system of filters that remove nearly every single particle right down to .003 microns in size. That is ten times larger than a virus! Many other machines only remove .3 microns or larger. Do a little research and check your specs before you choose your air purifier to ensure you are getting just what you need and want.
